Stereoscoop

What if you couldn't see red or blue?

Stereoscoop is a platformer that aims to provide the player with a casual and interactive moment in a retrowave environment. You evolve in dangerous levels where communication is the key to success. Indeed, as you are wearing retro stereoscopic glasses, you need the intel of your partner to know where are the platforms you can’t see, in order to escape the deadly mazes you will face together.

What I’ve learned on the project

The game was made during the Art Game week at the CNAM-ENJMIN.

I was responsible for the level design of half of the levels. We first sketched our idea on paper, and then we used the convenient tool the programmers provided us with. The main challenge we faced was that the same level was seen differently by the two players. We had to design challenging level that forced the two players to communicate at every step.
