What I’ve learned on the project

After the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator on the Xbox Series X/S, I started working on the Top Gun Maverick DLC, planned for the release of the movie.

I created training missions for the FA-18E Super Hornet fighter, teaching how to perform a high-performance takeoff, a split-s maneuver and a ridge crossing maneuver. I also created the stratospheric flight of the Darkstar.

I’ve deepen my knowledge of the following skills, softwares and technologies:

  • Mission design
  • Gamification in a simulation game (UX, difficulty level)
  • Scripting on the in-house ACE engine
  • Communication in a large international team
  • Compliance with project milestones and deadlines
  • Taking feedbacks from the QA tests
